One on One Consultation
This private course is recommended for individuals prior to taking the License to Carry Course or Concealed Course. Firearm safety, proper stance, grip, sighting, loading, unloading, handgun selection, and range safety will be discussed. Handgun rentals and ammunition will be available at the range. Handgun rentals will be $25 if a student does not own a firearm. It's recommended that participants purchase ammunition prior to course attendance. 100 rounds of newly manufactured ammunition will be required (No Reloads). Eye and Ear protection will be required and will also be available for rent at the specified range location. Time required is 1.5 hours.

Concealed Carry Course
Teaches the basic knowledge, skills and attitude necessary to carry a concealed pistol for personal defense. The NRA CCW Course is intended for all individuals regardless of previous shooting experience or NRA-affiliation. This instructor-led only course gives you direct instruction from an NRA-certified instructor from beginning to end and may be conducted in a classroom and on a shooting range with an instructor. Students will complete live fire training and a nationally standardized shooting qualification while on the range with an NRA Certified Instructor. Students will receive the NRA Guide for Basics of Pistol/Handgun Shooting handbook, take a Basics of Handgun Shooting Student Examination and receive a course completion certificate indicating the signature of the NRA Secretary and your NRA Certified Instructor. Time required will be 12 hours (Two-Day Course).

Basic Pistol Handgun Course
The NRA Basics of Handgun Shooting is a "Group Course" intended for all individuals regardless of previous shooting experience. Course topics that will be covered are gun safety, proper operation of revolvers and semi-automatic pistols, ammunition knowledge and selection, handgun selection and storage, shooting fundamentals, handgun inspection and maintenance, marksmanship, and shooting range safety. Students will complete live fire training and a nationally standardized shooting qualification while on the range with an NRA Certified Instructor. Students will receive the NRA Guide for Basics of Pistol/Handgun Shooting handbook, take a Basics of Handgun Shooting Student Examination and receive a course completion certificate indicating the signature of the NRA Secretary and your NRA Certified Instructor. Time required will be 6 hours.

Texas License to Carry
This class is designed to teach individuals the state mandated requirements to obtain a License to Carry for the State of Texas. Students will learn weapon and deadly force laws, handgun use and safety, resolving disputes in a nonviolent manner, and proper firearm storage practices. A handgun proficiency test will be administered after the classroom portion of this course.

General Course Requirements
A reliably functioning handgun (semi-automatic or revolver)
100 rounds of SAAMI certified newly manufactured ammunition. ***Please DO NOT bring LIVE ammunition into the classroom portion until advised by the instructor!!!***
Ear protection
Eye Protection – Prescription eyeglasses will be acceptable for eye protection.
Please wear closed-toe footwear to the range facility.
Please wear clothing which is appropriate for the course and range qualification. It's advisable to wear a "tee-shirt style" top to avoid possible "burns" from ejected brass casings.
$25 for handgun rental if student doesn't own one.
